Virgo Season: Purification & Reclaiming Lost Innocence
I'm being guided to elaborate on the reading I recently recorded for Virgo Season. Over the next few weeks, we are being encouraged to KNOW that we are truly worthy, deserving, and blessed with great things. With the presence of Mother Mary delivering the message, "expect a miracle," acknowledging this paradox, of finding happiness in the times we face.
The 10 of Cups is a cause of celebration, coming together, and all the good vibes. We are encouraged to remain optimistic and hopeful, to be open to the BEST case scenario instead of the worst.
As some things appear to be getting worse, more truth continues to surface. The reality is that the Earth is having some growing pains as she continues her ascension and as part of the Earth we are experiencing our own.
With the presence of The Hermit, during Virgo season, we see a perfect home placement. That while outside, our world may be chaotic, we can find solace within. While outside us the narrative may continue to twist and turn, what is that constant presence within saying? In the tarot, Virgo is represented by The Hermit and is the embodiment of Know Thy Self.
As Above, So Below
As Within, So Without...
These esoteric sayings may be cliche at this point but this is because of the wisdom they offer us. Much of our Earthly existence has taught us to continually look outside of our Self for answers and guidance. While this too has its benefits and great lessons, if we never begin to check in with ourselves, we can lose connection with who we are on a soul level. We become disconnected from our Source and instead rely on the outside world to tell us what to do and even worse, who to be. Furthermore, many of us have forgotten how incredibly creative we are and just how powerful we are at manifesting what we experience. Without this understanding we may feel confused as to why things may appear to look appealing on the surface, only to not feel that great. If there are still skeletons in the closet, eventually their presence is going to interfere with our happiness. (As you may guess, collectively there are a lot of skeletons lurking in the closet!)
The beautiful thing we have happening right now is the astrological energy is supporting our return to Self, the Universe supports our fated destiny and always has. It's just our own ability to recognize what they may be at this time, that can present challenges. An unintegrated ego has the tendency to chime in with its own agenda of getting its needs met. This can be feeling bad, for feeling bad, or the, "If only, I knew sooner, " anything to perpetuate suffering, procrastinate the healing, and attempting to punish our Self for not learning lessons sooner (that likely were not meant to be learned any sooner.)
So if the celebratory energy of the 10 of Cups feels very foreign and distant to you now, you may be guided to open up to parts of your Self you had forgotten. What makes you feel and come alive? What do you feel strongly about? What are your passions??
At the end of the day, as adults, our happiness is our responsibility. We really haven't been told that we've been shown and sold many versions, to think that maybe it's our partner's job to make us happy, or our parents, our friends, our neighborhood, or community. It's because our boss is such a jerk, that we're not happy... but whatever the circumstances the responsibility of pursuing happiness is our own. Despite any wrongdoings from others, eventually, Spirit encourages us to come back from the blame game to empower us to make necessary changes that support us.
There's so much rapid change occurring these days, what once made us come alive, may now make us feel like we need a nap. It's hard to let go of things that at one point seemed to offer us safety and security, stability, then to one day realize they may become the bane of your existence. It takes a willingness and openness to begin to recognize and accept these truths. For most of us, the truth will only be getting louder, to have us heed its lessons and its blessings. On the other hand, the louder the truth gets, the louder the chaotic noise gets to drown it out and it can be hard to tell which one is which, when we're disconnected from our Source.
There is a purification and healing process underway, but one must admit they are in need of the healing, that they want to be cleansed. If there is resistance, that is ok and a perfect starting point to begin to wonder where that resistance is coming from? When we start to unpack these unhealthy programs and conditioning that we were taught to believe in, more than our Self, we see how we have been continually fed, subtly or not so subtly, that we're not good enough unless we do x, y, or z, or have, a, b, and d. That so much of what we have learned is to be somebody else, cause who we are is a problem, not good enough. That we must achieve, or win, or buy the next thing to seem legit, intelligent, successful, or cool. All of this programming driving us further away from who we are and what we came here to experience and create for the planet. We can only have as much happiness outside of us, as we can create from within us...
So while the inorganic, artificial structures that have made up so much of what we know of our reality, continue to belittle our innate value to extract our essence, what is there to do?? The 5 of Coins is the naysayer, that always says it's never good enough, that there's never enough, and is always focused on lack but are we going to continue to accept this as truth?
Goddess Bridgit encourages us to, "Stand up for what you believe is right. Don't back down."
As schools begin to start another year this season, part of what Mother Mary brought through for me is standing up for our children. This means the current children living on this planet and every single one of us as a Child of the Divine. Our children are in need of unconditional love and support, have they been getting it? Children are the future, they are teachers and have so much to offer, this is a truth, is it not? It may have not felt like that growing up, but now is an opportunity to connect back to our youth, our innate innocence, and REMEMBER, to bring back what they hoped we would forget. These are the times to reclaim any innocence that was taken from us.
